Exploring the Wonders of Science
Ages: 8–13
Format: Hands-On Activities, Note taking.
Course Description:
Get ready to ignite your child’s curiosity with Exploring the Wonders of Science! Designed for homeschoolers ages 8–13, this engaging course brings science to life through interactive lessons, hands-on experiments, and exciting discoveries.
Students will dive into key scientific concepts across multiple disciplines, including:
• Earth Science – Explore rocks, minerals, weather patterns, and the layers of the Earth.
• Life Science – Investigate ecosystems, plant and animal adaptations, and the human body.
• Physical Science – Experiment with forces, motion, energy, and simple machines.
• Chemistry – Discover the states of matter, chemical reactions. Whether your child is a budding scientist or just beginning to explore the world around them, this course will inspire a lifelong love for learning!

Journey Through History:
The Journey through history class offers young learners an immersive journey through the rich tapestry of human civilization. Designed for ages 8 to 11, this class explores major civilizations, including Rome, China, the Iberian Peninsula, Mesoamerica, and Europe during the medieval and Renaissance periods. Students will learn about the cultural, artistic, and culinary traditions that have shaped societies across the globe.
All lessons will be taught in units, through differentiation of instruction and inconsideration of the child as a whole. Students will begin class with a brain-balancing warm-up, affirmations, & tapping. Lessons will cover various standards-based topics for this age group.
All lessons will include hands-on activities, an interactive notebook, and art. All learning styles are embedded with each lesson. Topics will vary each semester.
